I followed along with Reincardnated from Doolittle Gaming on Kickstarter last year but for some reason I chose against it. I was very wrong. In Reincardnated you are attempting to reincarnate your creatures all the way to a human. This is done by selecting cards from a pool of 8 that are always out as well as from Karma cards that are played on your turn.

The Good: I loved the mechanic of not seeing your objective card unless you either play a Karma card or select a card from the pool that lets you look at yours or another players. It was super unique. The artwork is also super nice. Each species has white empty eyes to signify an empty vessel and it looks so cool. Being local to Columbus is a nice touch as well!

The Okay: I had some question marks about a few cards. There were some that allowed you to take over a specific card which I was not sure if they needed to be in the pool or pulled from the deck.

The Not So Good: If I had to pick something I didn’t really care for I’d have to say its the overall material of the cards. They’re difficult to shuffle but they’re still a nice quality. I would have preferred an easier to shuffle finish.

Overall: 8/10 empty vessels

I really really liked this game. A lot. Its very smooth once you start playing and it can take a much or as little time as you need it to take. I only played with 2 but I can’t wait to bring this to a game night!
